2、抗老化性能和耐熱性能好。玻璃鋼管可在-40℃～70℃溫度范圍內(nèi)長期使用，采用特殊配方的耐高溫樹脂還可在200℃以上溫度正常工作。長期用于露天使用的管道，其外表面添加有紫外線吸收劑，來消除紫外線對管道的輻射，延緩玻璃鋼管道的老化。

2. Good ageing resistance and heat resistance. FRP pipe can be used for a long time in the temperature range of - 40 ~70 ~C, and the high temperature resistant resin with special formulation can work normally at temperatures above 200 ~C. For long-term use in open air pipelines, ultraviolet absorbent is added to the outer surface to eliminate the radiation of ultraviolet radiation to pipelines and delay the aging of FRP pipelines.

3、抗凍性能好。在零下20℃以下，管內(nèi)結(jié)冰后不會發(fā)生凍裂。

7、維護(hù)成本低。玻璃鋼管由于上述的耐腐，耐磨和抗凍和抗污等性能，因此工程不需要進(jìn)行防銹，防污，絕緣，保溫等措施和檢修。對地埋管無需作陰極保護(hù)，可節(jié)約工程維護(hù)費(fèi)用達(dá)70%以上。

7. Low maintenance cost. Due to the above corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance, frost resistance and pollution resistance of FRP pipes, there is no need to carry out rust prevention, pollution prevention, insulation, insulation and other measures and maintenance. 8、耐磨性好。把含有大量泥漿，沙石的水，裝入管子中進(jìn)行旋轉(zhuǎn)磨損影響對比試驗(yàn)。經(jīng)300萬次旋轉(zhuǎn)后，檢測管內(nèi)壁的磨損深度如下:用焦油和瓷釉涂層的鋼管為0.53mm，用環(huán)氧樹脂和焦油涂層的鋼管為0.52mm，經(jīng)表面硬化處理的鋼管為玻璃鋼管為0.21mm。由此玻璃鋼耐磨性能好。

8. Good wear resistance. The water containing a large amount of mud and sand was put into the pipe to carry out a comparative test on the effect of rotational wear. After 3 million rotations, the wear depth of the inner wall of the pipe is as follows: the steel pipe coated with tar and enamel is 0.53 mm, the steel pipe coated with epoxy resin and tar is 0.52 mm, and the steel pipe hardened by surface is 0.21 mm. Therefore, FRP has good wear resistance.

9、電熱絕緣性好。玻璃鋼是非導(dǎo)體，管道的電絕緣性特優(yōu)，絕緣電阻在1012-1015Ω.cm，最適應(yīng)使用于輸電，電信線路密集區(qū)和多雷區(qū)玻璃鋼的傳熱系數(shù)很小，只有0.23，是鋼的千分之五，管道的保溫性能優(yōu)異。

9. Good electrical and thermal insulation. Fiberglass reinforced plastics (FRP) is a non-conductor with excellent electrical insulation. Its insulation resistance is 1012-1015_.cm. It is most suitable for power transmission. The heat transfer coefficient of FRP in dense areas of telecommunication lines and multi-minefield areas is very small, only 0.23, which is five thousandths of steel. The insulation performance of pipelines is excellent.

10. Small frictional resistance and high conveying capacity. The inner wall of FRP pipe is very smooth with little roughness and friction. The roughness coefficient is 0.0084, while the n value of concrete pipe is 0.014 and that of cast iron pipe is 0. 013, therefore, FRP can significantly reduce fluid pressure loss along the way and improve the transport capacity. Therefore, it can bring remarkable economic benefits: when the transportation capacity is the same, the FRP pipeline with smaller inner diameter can be used to reduce the one-time project investment; when the pipeline with the same inner diameter is used, the FRP pipeline can reduce the pressure head loss and save the pumping cost compared with other pipelines with the same inner diameter. In addition, FRP pipe can shorten pumping time and reduce long-term operating costs.
